Throughout the nation, residents are concerned about the spate of crime that has its grip on different communities. Crime is a topic that is discussed during every news cycle, from varying perspectives. But now you can get involved if you would like to partner with law enforcement, churches and community organizations.
On Tuesday, August 2, “National Night Out Against Crime” events will take place across the country, offering everyday civilians the opportunity to make their views known. For residents in the northeast Bronx, churches, including Trinity Baptist, will partner with the 47th precinct and the 47th precinct community council to hold a peace prayer march.
The march will begin at 3:30 p.m. and continue until 8:00 p.m. at the 47th precinct, east 230th St. between Laconia Ave. and Grenada Place. Make your voice heard, join the effort.–OnPointPress.net–
