Entering game 6, the Kansas City Royals and San Francisco Giants gave baseball fans some exciting a series which so far featured entertaining games. The Giants were up three games to two with Kansas City having at least one more chance to continue the series in their home stadium.
So far, both teams have played up to their strengths. The Giants behind ace pitcher Madison Bumgarner have been able to stifle the Royals win he is on the mound. The Royals on the other hand, have been able to hold their leads when they are stellar bullpen comes into the game. The Royals’ rabid fan base can propelled them to a game six victory and force a game seven. Meanwhile, the Giants were trying to establish somewhat of a dynasty by winning their third World Series in five years.
The play on the field has made up for the lack of star power associated with the teams coming into the series. The Giants have had a different ace each time they’ve been to the World Series, while the Royals have had so much turnover on their roster that many of their players have only been there for less than three years. The Royals delivered big time on Tuesday night during a pivotal game six, giving baseball fans and Royals fans in particular, a huge lift and a big reason to hope that they can win it all..–OnPointPress.net–
